About us

We’re Sitelabs, a small lab in Barcelona that designs and builds applications. Most of our work is software for other people, but video is what we do when nobody is paying us to: we shoot, edit and spend more time than we should looking at how files are put together.

This project started the way most of them do: with a problem of our own. A recording was cut short, the camera left an .RSV file behind, and the options we found were either expensive, slow or asked us to send our footage away without knowing whether it would come back.

So we built the tool we wanted to find. It reads the .RSV directly, rebuilds the missing index without re-encoding anything, and shows you the result before you pay. If it can’t recover your recording, you don’t pay.
